Born This Way, like most Gaga fans. It helped me personally and helped change the general perception of queer people in the US for the better.

My favorite song and Gaga song (Judas) is on this album and this song changed my life. It made me less insecure about myself that I learned the whole choreo and I had the courage to do it infront of the whole school in a rally and I will never forget that. Other tracks like Hair and The Edge of Glory made me tear up and learn the piano versions. Marry The Night also helped me aswell when I didn't know what to pursue in life. Born This Way obviously is the big LGBT song. Even though I am not Lesbian or Gay or Bisexual or Trans, It was great for an artist (especially my favorite artist) at this time to say something. Not only about this community, but to everyone who feels different and saying that its okay to be different than others. I have a lot of Gay, Bisexual and Lesbian friends and it was great that every year during Pride Month, I see my friends relieved and dancing to Born This Way. I just love this album so much!

TF(M) because discovering Gaga was just destiny to me, it’s like the icon/idol I never had and had been yearning for. She gave me so much confidence with her music and I bonded with so many people before she became ultra worldwide.

1,000 forms of fear by Sia has got me through the last few years of anxiety, depression and more recently my accident leading to my fibro diagnosis. I feel like her voice is a beacon of light through my darkest days. I’m lucky that I managed to explain to her manager how much she’s helped me.

Born This Way came at the right time in my life. I had that album on replay for 2 years, daily. I give so much credit to Gaga and Born This Way, because it truly saved my life and empowered me during the hardest time of my life.

Honestly, Joanne

i have a different connection to each song, such as self-love (physically or spiritually :stalkga:), family, loss, relationships, unity, and hope. This album changed me in the way that I can be stripped down version of myself, as well as admiring and loving my family and close friends. Really, this album opened me up into who I am today.

xoxo, Joanne

I’m not flawless but I got a diamond heart
