I agree! She is! I'm saying that she's not going to be forced to go through what Gaga had to go through during ARTPOP because these collaborations will keep her relevant long enough for her to distract from her terrible behavior.

I doubt it. KPop stans, as you know, love being on the winning team. They love bragging about awards and charts and "all-kills" and all of that. If BTS is successful, their fans will be there to soak it in.

I think it's more likely that as the group matures, individual members start "taking breaks"/leaving to pursue their own careers, and the group slowly declines in influence that way. Truly the new EXO.

 

I guess naturally everyone does. But it reminds me when 2NE1 worked with Will.I.Am and the backllash they have hot from their fans. It makes me sad to witness those bitterness of course being their fan and all.

I didn't know about the 2NE1 thing. Though tbh I feel like k-netizens generally have it out for girl groups, like they're just waiting for them to make a misstep so they can tear them down. Whereas fans of boy groups are willing to forgive them a lot more. "Oppa didn't mean it" and all that. So I feel like even if the scenario is the same, k-netz might cut BTS more slack than 2NE1. 

Do you remember if Wonder Girls got backlash too? They tried HARD in like the 2009-ish time period to make it big in America, I believe they opened for the Jonas Brothers in addition to releasing songs with Will.I.Am. But maybe they weren't big enough in Korea for the internet to care, idk.
