She sings ok. And so do 90% of singers. Only a few are great vocalists. I love her music. Especially Waiting for Tonight and On the Floor.

While I don't think her career has been particularly influential in terms of music videos, which is what I think the VMAs should be about, I was pleasantly surprised by her vocal talent during that performance.

My point was Britney has obviously faced and withstood far, far more scrutiny than all of those people, (You don't need me to post all those past clips do you?) whether some of it was self-inflicted or not and is still successful today.

I don't give a damn if she has more instagram followers or if she's a more relevant celebrity (in the United States) today, the bottom line is Jennifer Lopez can never take that cataloge to tour outside of the Western Hemisphere.  Ever.
