I want to defend her but I can't, Gaga cuts ties with R. Kelly immediately and even her friend Terry R. to avoid any more backlash, she then goes on to support a rape victim, created music to bring awareness to sexual assault, and change her controversial image into one that was much more wholesome. Nicki has defended her decision, which she has the right to, but girl come on, your brother is in jail for rape and you collab with another rapist. A blind donkey knows that that isn't a good idea and she only brings race and gender into it when it suits her narrative as if black people and women are supposed to ignore her problematic behavior and defend her without question. I can see where she coming from but only on a surface level. Gaga genuinely cared about better herself and being more aware of who she works with. Nicki isn't even showing signs of doing that. She literally is drowning in desperation and insecurity and it's honestly sad to see. She needs to take notes from Beyonce and even Gaga recently and take the high road or not discuss the issue at all. For someone who has been in the industry for almost a decade it really pathic to see her like this. Your lane is solidified Nicki you don't have anything to prove. It's not like she was supposed to perform a background check on him before making a song together. Even if she knew and gave him the benefit of doubt, so did literally everyone during those 10 years.
