But I grew up with release schedules, artists giving interviews, updating people on the process of the albums they were making, giving interviews on the set of their videos... in April 2000 you knew what albums were coming out in November of the same year, and it was BIG acts: the Spice Girls, Marilyn Manson, the U2. the Backstreet Boys.
