I don't think anything you're saying here actually makes any sense. Shes not above the VMA's anymore than anyone else. Its still a relevant awards ceremony and significantly more relevant and for her target demographics than the irrelevant AMA's/Billboard/etc awards. Grammys, Oscars, Emmys, Tonys, VMAs. Come awards season for pop culture figures and artists those are the big 5. All the other awards ceremonies are little sidelines. And I know theres this narrative on pop forums that the VMA's are over or whatever, I get it, but its not actually true. I think pop stans just pay more attention to little awards no one actually cares about like Billboard or AMA's because they're more willing to handout awards to their favorite artist. As opposed to the VMAs that over the past few years has been willing to snub pop forum favorites.
