This sounds perfect, which means they won't do it.

We should end every thread from this website with this quote from now on. I think it fits everywhere.

What about the ASIB soundtrack? Do you think she wont perform a music centered film at all either?

Why should/would she? Perhaps if a track takes off (which I doubt), we'll see a Grammy performance or something but I'm not expecting anything else.

Prada

everything can be rumors and hyping but at least Venice and things to come at September are not.

and THAT alone makes me super happy.

We will see her at red carpet anddddddd.

lots of people will watch the premiere at Venice, lots of critics will talk and things will be written regarding movie and soundtracks. I love reading what others write about the movie

yuppppiiii:))

I still don't get why so many people overestimate the time it takes to promote a movie tho. A movie is not an album, most of the work is in the film itself, not the promotion of it (if the majority of work would be in the promotion instead of the film itself that'd be a bad sign lmao). Usually when movies are out, actors don't take 6 months out of their schedule to ''promote'' it. Instead, they finished filming the movie like 6-12 months prior to its release and are likely already onto starring in the next movie.

Promoting the movie shouldn't even be Gaga's task tbh, Warner Bros can do it themselves via trailers, billboards, you know, stuff people actually may be confronted with. Not by 300 appearances at artistic festivals with an audience of 1k.

Can we frame that post forever ? ^^

Seriously those who think Lady Gaga is in charge of the promo are set for a big disappointment on how much she is involved in the promo.

Lady Gaga is working for Warner Bros and for Bradley's project, that's all. Not the reversal. Of course she'll make some interviews (some are probably already recorded) and show up at some premieres. But you know a day is full of 24 hours. It's not few 10 minutes interviews that are going to take all of her time.

Actors are allowed to get their own other projects.

Right?

And it's not like she said several times in the past that she likes to do one thing at the time.

But let them dream.

Promo (actors involvement) for movie is generally focused in the couple of weeks before the release and the first week it's out. Then they let the movie makes it's own way.

A Blockbuster can last two months doing great money. For a movie like ASIB, I'd give it three / four weeks.

That doesn't exclude LG6 at the end of the year with a lead single sooner.

Well she has still the soundtrack to promote, but if you don't think she'll bother to promote that either, then I wonder why you'd even think that she'll bother to promote and release LG6 that soon...

Who said she'll 'promote' LG6 ? Promoting an album as hell is sooooo 2013. Now you have to sign good deals with streaming services and radios to get big hits.

A sountrack is made to go with a movie, apparently they don't have any plans to push a single from it (The guy who said it is safe). Lets see what happen but I don't see why Monsters consider ASIB as a something that prevent her to focus on her music career as well. ASIB and LG6 have two different aims. LG6 and ASIB could actually work great together. One helping the other.

The danger of releasing LG6 around the same time is that radio stations will sacrifice one or the other to allow more slots for other, I don't think they will want play that many of her songs at the same time. Also applies to the GP's attention; if you release both at the same time chances are one will overshadow the other.

But I mean I won't understand why Gaga's team won't try pushing ASIB singles. Do they not have potential or what? We've all seen how well The Greatest Showman's singles did.

At the end who cares if they promote or not the music ? I mean we'll all get the full sountrack at the same time we'll be enjoying the movie... Not sure she made ASIB to use the music as a full musical era or she wouldn't even had to record her next pop album at the same time..

By the way I will mention La La Land (produced by Interscope) which had no singles. Radios just played songs that click..

All I know is that she's coming with a residency that she'll have to sell. The travel and the stay will be expensive for anyone that is not from the US. If she still wants to bring the international audience and fans, she'll need a fresh and new project. I'm sure she's conscious about it

Like you said, if she wants to bring the international audience for the residency, I do care if she promotes the music or not, and that includes ASIB. Yes she's recording LG6 now, but how do you know she would be done by then? We all know she takes a long ass time to record an album. Who knows, maybe she will scrap the current concept and bring in new producers. Since she already has material that is recorded and confirmed to be released for ASIB, why not focus on that first?
