It was 2012 - 2014

2015 and early 2016 it wasnt negative reaction just like oh does she still make her own music?

ever since the SuperBowl and later Coachella everyone either reacts positively.

Shes not 2010 trendy but she's not lame. If your in your early 20's possibly? But she's gotten a very respectable career thus far.

At least, in my case, people in Venezuela don't really care about Gaga  and probably if I asked them about Gaga they would only recall the meat dress and Bad Romance. Also, my generation completely (apart from some people) ignores her existence and stick to their trap/reggaeton music.

So starry eyed on the flowery hillside, breathless and fervid amid the dandelions.

It's super lame, I get judged all the time. But I hang out with a lot of wannabe musicians, hipsters, str8 dudes with dat toxic masculinity, and punk rockers so they r judgy like that. (F uck them tbh)

I'm 100000x cooler hotter more fun and more fab than any of them and so is Gaga so they can suck our glittery butts :whitney:

It's not nearly as bad today as it was back in college when everyone was a supertool and Gaga's public perception was still "untalented robot man woman who is only famous for the outfits". Now even the Redditors respect her :whitney:

My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <3

Back in 2010, it was hip and trendy to tell people you liked Lady Gaga. Does this still apply in 2018?

As a straight guy it was more looked down upon to like Lady Gaga back then.

Excluding the ARTPOP era when hating and/or disliking Gaga was cool. :messga: I feel like now if someone says they like Gaga or her music they are more respected and are viewed as open minded people that are musically versatile.

Actually no...

At least for guys, it's easier now to say they like Gaga lol. Her music is more mature and acceptable to the GP lol

In my group of friends I have to hide that I like her because we are SOOO "underground" :toofunny: that listening pop music is considered as a crime, so no exception for Gaga even if I think she still the best in the "pop game" (with Allie X, Lorde and Azealia Banks). So, I have not really answer to the question but I'll say it's semi lame, considering pop music as garbage, Gaga is a true jewel!

People are always shocked when I say I like her. Not because it's Gaga but because they think she retired years ago. I always get the same damn response :selena:

I don't think it was actually "hip" to like gaga even back in 2010-11... :laughga:. She's cool if you had friends who loved her music as much as you did but other people thought she was too weird, attention seeking, or was a man. It's gotten better nowadays however after the superbowl and Joanne now that she's seen as "normal" in a lot of people's eyes.
