I dont think we even have enough evidence of her production chops to be able to say that. She like co-produced Venus. Its not like that song is a trainwreck or anything. Especially not production wise. I think its only drawback, even though I enjoy it, would be the campiness of its lyrics.

the track is overproduced but most of ARTPOP is overproduced and drowned her voice . What i meant is that I think sometimes she just slaps some weir sound on the track to feel like a Gaga track even if it doesn't sound good .

A lot of hunties here are waiting for THAT RnB BOP album...and who other is better than Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins to produce an album full of RnB/Pop fusion bops? (perhaps Timbaland :neyde: )

Bare with me, his productions are amazing!!! His production work on Michael Jackson's Invincible album, Brandy's Full Moon, Brandy's Human album, Whitney Houston's My Love Is Your Love is impeccable . Of course he produced one of Gagz ha biggest hits...so why not an album with more Darkchild songs? :tony:

Yes those albums he produced 20 years ago are amazing. What has he done recently? Is Telephone his last big hit?

He was one of my favorite hiphop/r&b producers back in the early 00s. Unlike a lot of his peers, he was classically trained musician and it showed in his work as his productions always had a classical sound to it. He didn't just create beats on a computer.

She also had to fight to be able to record it herself. Darkchild is a frequent collaborator with Britney and her team or was at that time anyway. Gaga had not worked with him before, only worked with him on this, and never worked with him again. I wonder if in having to fight to be able to include it on her own album...that Darkchild was maybe stuck with having to work with her or something due to legal reasons? Maybe that was part of what made it stressful? I remember she did this long ass interview with like NME or pitchfork im not sure, but it was lengthy. Written. The guy asked about Britney having the song and Gaga said she was going to tell him all about it and referred to it as if its this juicy story but she said shed only tell him about it off the record. So it wasnt included in the interview.

Gaga recorded at least 4 songs with Darkchild.

Superstar, Out of Overration, Animal and Telephone.

And the thing is, there is some proof that Animal was created AFTER the Fame Monster.

Gaga dislikes Telephone for multiple reasons. Darkchild is not one of them.
