Never understood why most monsters don't talk about it. Sure it's a lot less polished and nowhere near as creative as the latter tours like mbt or jwt but I still enjoyed it very much. The huge dalek costume was really cool and I love the interludes. That "this is my house" one had me hyped

Didymus would have loved this thread. He loves everything about The Fame and I remember him giving high praise to The Fame Ball Tour.

To be honest, The Fame Ball Tour is acclaimed by many critics and it showcased how Gaga was able to turn a small stage into a platform to display her professionalism as an international superstar. I think it's one of the best debut tours for an artist.

The outfits were lit, the stage presence and energy were lit (something a lot of new pop singers lack), the props were lit, the vocals were lit. It really launched her to stardom.

Found this on Wikipedia:

The Hollywood Reporter said that "Lady Gaga showed she's a serious contender to Madonna's crown Friday at the Wiltern. She might be a relative newcomer, but the artist born Stefani Joanne Germanotta commanded the stage with a royal air during her hourlong set, at times even sporting a glowing scepter."
