Should Gaga stop working with overconfident/cocky people?

Was DJWS like that in the beginning? I mean look at TFM and BTW. He created history. But I think since the ARTPOP era he has become a bit overconfident. ARTPOP was not a very experimental artsy album. It had a conventional musicality. But DO WE is versatile.

I want Gaga to experiment. Previously she used to make complex, intricate songs. Now they are less so, though similarly beautiful.

And DJWS sometimes thinks he makes experimental revolutionary music. He needs a reality check sometimes.

Overconfident: excessively or unreasonably confident.

Confident: feeling or showing confidence in oneself; self-assured.

As I said, it's fine for these producers to be proud of their work. But making false assumptions like "I wrote a hit" when the song isn't even released or "RadioIsOurs" is simply the definition of overconfidence and living in an alternative reality.

You're setting expectations too high for the GP and then when your work doesn't do as well as you said it'd do, people won't find you credible anymore.

Also I'm making a bet here, this "hit" that Boys Noize wrote will just be another song, not an actual hit. Mark my words.

This post in general just seems very negative and silly. He’s happy with what he’s created and he feels like it’s a hit. He’s not predicting commercial success. People are allowed to be happy with their work! He’s not overconfident. They shouldn’t have to tone down their excitement/happiness about what they’ve created to please some superstitious  pessimist.

we dont know what these alleged "hits" sound like so i dont think you can tell if people are exaggerating or not. i said it before and ill say it again, a-yo IS a hit song. its super radio friendly, its chill, its fresh and with a dance video it would be massive

the only reason gaga doesnt have huge hits like she did back in 2008-2011 is the lack of promo

Yeah, no, I don't think any of that is right. People get confused because she's kind-hearted and usually nice, but she's also an egomaniac, or at least she used to be. I do think she's been humbled a bit since her peak, but she can still get pretty grandiose at times. I don't blame her for it -- I doubt she could've gotten where she is without it.

i hate to say it but judging from the fact that its the ONLY song she performed live on tv (except like... 3 PI performances) i guess the promo was because she needed a hit song from the recent album to perform at the superbowl
