Everytime a new pop girl starts having success, gays start calling them overrated and their music **** all of a sudden. But then go and complain about the lack of pop in charts; youre not helping. How about instead of hating someone because you dont like them, hate them because they do actually lack likeable qualities? Take these Dua Lipa is overrated threads. Gays listen to New Rules and scream BASICBASICBASICTRENDHOPPING without even taking a look at her past. "One hit wonder" when she has been a hitmaker in Europe for YEARS. She cant sing? Bitch is you DEAF? And whats with the sudden hate for pure pop? Gays were kissing Katys ass during the Teenage Dream era and all those songs are the definition of basic pop. Does that make them bad? No. But I hate dua lipa so I hate it when she makes pure pop! And here is the sitch; shes indie pop. Lmfao. Sure, she cant really perform live that well, she is stiff on stage, but she is a lot better im smaller venues. Nobody bats am eye when Rihanna messes up all the time performing and singing but when some new pop girls does it OVER CANCELLED TALENT LOST!!1!! So yeah. Dua isnt talentless and overrated. Neither is Bebe Rexha as much as I personally dont like her music, even Meghan Trainor. So stop trying to cancel every new singer, thank you. She won Video of the Year for Firework and was seen as a rival of other main pop stars like Gaga, Britney and Rihanna. Her music is infectious and catchy and cheerful and she knows how to bring her vision to life. Many recycle what has already been done. I believe we are at the point of an era shift in music and society in general. Using the metaphor of the snake eating its own tail, society is doing such. Things are being reused, society is experiencing shifts and everything is trying to balance out. At some point trends will change and music will be different. I do not believe that we should dislike people just because they are not like Gaga, Katy, Beyonce, Kesha, Pink, etc. They are having a hard time figuring out what the GP likes and the GP determines their success.
