Honestly.

Truly.

I got back into the album around six months ago, and my god - we need a fresh, fun and disco-infused dance record from anyone at this point. Everything from Hung Up and Sorry, over Jump to Get Together, these are the kinds of BOPS we need in times like this.

This hip-hop, rap, slow, dance to this whatever kind of stuff is not really bringing it imo.
Everything seems a little "uninspired".

Remeber the short time in 2015 when everyone thought Disco would have its big comeback? The hints were everywhere with Gagas cover of I Want Your Love (what's the T on that new Chic album right now? When is it coming out for real?) and Nile Rodgers features All. Over. The. Place. Even Giorgio Moroder released a full album.

I don't care who will release a record to get the gays living again bring back Disco, if it's Gaga, Madonna, Carly or someone else - It just needs to happen.

I mean, what else would fit into #20Gayteen (:rip:) better than a full blown and fun dance record ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, we're having the ABBA-covers Cher album coming in September, that's one thing :laughga:

If you like that type of albums, I highly recommend Goldfrapp's "Head First" to you. To me, along with Confessions, it is the best discopop record of the century. Full-on ABBA meets italo disco with a modern twist.

Gaga doing disco is something that could revive pop music again:oops:

I couldn't agree more, I need a fun and not depressing album to come and wow everyone (I'm hoping it's Gaga that does this) We need disco back

You want, you need and you deserve :interestinga:

We need fresh pop music honestly, I agree. I don't get how rap is popular tbh, it's just the same **** over and over again. It's annoying. Can't wait for pure pop to come back!

tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit

I might, but I think a lot of people on here would love a great new dance/disco record :lana:

Let's pray for another The Fame-level impact

Pretty much every gerne she went into, inspired a lot of contemporaries (except for C2C obviously).
Let's hope she can do that with dance again.

No. I'm fine with a Music/American Life sound.

Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

YES. I want high quality dance/disco/pop music to be cool again, and for creativity to make a comeback.

And PLEASE no divisive politics. We need to escape and just have fun for a while.

RAMROD

I'll buy it tbh.

Maybe living in Portugal will give Madonna some fresh ideas.

You just spoke my mind. I think COADF is an ageless album. Whenever you are in bad mood, or not feeling yourself just listen to it fully. So fresh and unique that sometimes I feel so satisfied.

I will always regret Gaga doesn't have an album like this. She is so perfect for it, but she is not interested.

Most songs on the album still sound so fresh, it's almost unbeliveable

I am sure something like Sorry, Jump or Let It Will Be (my fave on the album ) would do well today.
