You and I? At the end of the day, what matters is the song that was covered multiple times and enjoyed some longevity.

World wide, Judas of course. It sadly didn't have any longevity though

Radios stopped playing the song because of controversies, but I heard Judas on the radio this year and at a pizza parlor so Its back

Not really, because people say BTW is a bigger hit than Telephone, but Telephone has more longevity. Same with Alejandro

There was no controversy in France though, but maybe Interscope decided to cancel the single like Marry The Night in order to push The Edge of Glory and make people forget about the Judas controversy because they felt that it would affect the success of the album

Besides France tho, in most countries since Judas did pretty good in France, it peaked #7 and spent 21 weeks on the chart. That is actually great. I don't really think that though, since she still continued promoting the first 3 singles of the album around the world like in Night clubs, Sydney Monster Hall, Paul O' Grady and Jimmy Kimmel

Let's not say that Born This Way was bigger than Telephone

I mean, it was an instant smash because it was the return of the artist that was at the highest peak ever for an artist, so naturally people jumped on it. During it's debut week, literally 1/4 song that was played on the radio was Born This Way, but the GP didn't LOVE it, so it charted high but it did not hit as much as Telephone did. Yet Telephone's biggest success was it's video, which will never be forgotten.

Idk, maybe in America, but certainly not here in Europe :) Here people still mention Telephone quiet often, whereas they don't remember Born This Way

Judas I believe. Despite being controversial Judas is a more 'Gaga' song than You and I

It's obvious Judas did internationally better than You and I. I don't see You and I being too remember where I live, but I have a feeling that some may remember Judas (and its music video) kinda the same way they remember TFM singles.
