She knows it isn't perfect, but whenever she talks about her family with her friends and other people, she will take pride on it and not talking the bad side of them. It's extremely likely though that she has seen some of the terrible tweets/posts regarding Demi Lovato, and is simply calling them out subtly whilst also separating herself from that unfortunate minority of people who can't seem to find an ounce of empathy in their hearts.
