It's like I can't figure out how she and her voice can fit in that genre if she finally releases an album 100% like that I don't feel like bopping to Vroom vroom by Charlie XCX for example, neither SOPHIE songs Um, I just googled Vroom Vroom cuz I had never listened to it and it's a whole ass bop. I'm here for it

Raccoon 1,047
Remember Tame Impala on Joanne? Everyone thought they were gonna make loads of songs when they only made one song together As much as I'd love for Gaga to experiment with PC music, it's probably gonna end up like Kevin, only there for one or a couple of songs... Battle 4 Ur Life 6,715
Jeez relax... you're forgetting about the fact that SOPHIE produced this I'm sure Gaga is only interested in the beats and samples. last time I checked she was the one composing her songs almost back to back and she is the one who is in charge. it's NOT gonna sound like Vroom Vroom or PC Music. It's gonna sound like Gaga just like Joanne doesn't sound like Uptown Funk or G.U.Y and Donatella don't sound like "Clarity" or "In the Middle" (yuck). “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”

Luxe Ford 3,481
There's no way her vocals will sound like those munchkin PC ones. And without them and twisted to satisfy Interscope it'll be like a whole new genre. Oh well...do what you want with my standom. Jay.P 2,336
I'm guessing she's doing the same thing she did with BloodPop on Joanne when she recruited him to modernize the songs she had already recorded with Mark. Maybe she recorded them with live instruments and the orchestra and is using the electronic music producers to put the finishing touches on it/give it an electronic edge? Do you hear that? It's poison.

Indeed. Same thing with Madeon on ARTPOP. I remember listening a lot of his songs when I found out he was working on the album. But then he was only in two songs... (and Gypsy is quite different from his solo work, tbh). So I guess PC Music may have an influence on the album, but I doubt it will be the main sound of LG6. Although Sophie takes heavy influences from genres under the EDM umbrella, most acts take influence from Electropop, Bubblegum, Hip-Hop and Glitch. PC music fits the concept of say The Fame but i can’t imagine Gaga making a PC music song it’s too out of her comfort zone and definitely would get a lot of hate for being “just noise” to many people. I feel like EDM can be used as an umbrella term for electronic music you can dance to, tho. And the pretense that PC music sounds like noise to many people is misguided because while songs like Faceshopping and L.O.V.E. do exist, they're not the only type of sound that falls under the PC Music genre. Make Believe by Hannah Diamond, 1UL By Danny Harle, Be Your USA by EASYFUN... and plenty more, are all produced by PC Music producers and they're rather pop and GP friendly sounding. This isn't to start an argument I'm just defending that PC Music can be called EDM.
