Theyre completely different artists, but I will say that her dedication is really exciting, and Sweetener is undoubtedly going to be a great album. 

Its not about talent, and relevancy is not only in the US. There are other countries as well. No one even knows Ariana properly in my country whereas when Gaga debuted everyone went wild bopping to Poker face here. Born this way was a huge hit as well. Literally every old person will know who "Gaga" is. Its a legacy that she built in just two albums into her career.

Popularity isn't just in "your country" either. Even if "no one even knows" her, Ariana is one of the highest streamed female artists atm, WORLDWIDE. So you're discrediting your own point with that one. 

No one ever said that both Gaga and Ariana can't be popular, or can't each have success in their career. Facts are facts, and she's doing better than she ever had. She's delivering the music, the visuals, and the dedication. She's also early in her career, and didn't happen in the same way that Gaga did, so discussing her legacy is essentially a moot point. 

Typical Monsters not allowing other artists to have success or popularity because they're waiting around for "DarkGa" to return and serve RedOne bops.

Since she's been in a relationship with Pete Davidson, she behaves weird and she is also rude to fans on Twitter. Quality can be debated because of "The Light Is Coming"

And yes quality can be debated if you're using personal opinion. Doesn't change the fact that NTLTC and GIAW are both performing quite well, and public reception of her new era is much higher that her previous work.

Even though those two were critical acclaimed, people aren't for her more adult side as they used to before. It's nothing nowhere Born This Way since Born This Way wasn't a mature side of Gaga, just a one which was about loving yourself the way you are. Sweetener will be about positivity in life but not especially the loving yourself part but rather enjoying and living your best life.
