Venus Isn't 100% Gaga's Creation

ARTPOP is such an interesting album and has deep meaning. The problem is the GP can't or don't understand its concept because it's too "art"  :vegas:

(even some of her fans also don't get the message of ARTPOP, including me :saladga::laughga:

It might do well if it was executed well imo.

okay but that's Madeon, not Gesaffelstein

Lol why are you so fixated with this, do you have a source that says that Gaga claimed she did 100% of the song on her own? No

if there’s anybody that likes to credit the people she works with is Gaga, everything you found about this song producers, writers, the demos and all was already revealed during the ARTPOP era, same with Aura and Infected Mushrooms mess, just because you weren’t a fan during this time and didn’t know the Tea doesn’t mean Gaga is trying to hide something from you  :ladyhaha:

Then what about

"On the eighth day Gaga created Venus. And spurt the gays from it." - Bottoms 69:6

Please don't make statements that contradict the word of God. :legend:

Wow, I didn't know she "worked" with Gesaffelstein too :tony: But this whole "Venus isn't completely her creation" is obvious. It's been since day one :huntyga:

what is your position on it? there's nothing wrong with doing that and I can't think of who right now but I've definitely seen an artist before record their vocals over an existing artists instrumental then build the new beat afterwards. One of the reasons could be that when they get the idea of lyrics and vocal melody they want to record it instantly and if they don't have a demo of a beat already made they can use an existing song with a similar vibe and tempo that they hear

edit - and in those cases you don't need to credit them if their work isn't used in the final product, it doesn't matter what instrumental you originally record over

That's the point of ARTPOP. Taking 2 world's and blending them together.

Gaga vs infected mushroom

Gaga vs zedd or Madeon or Rkelly or Twista or RedOne.

The songs were paired as couples in parts too. (Fashion! & Donatella, MJH & Dope, GUY & Sex dreams etc etc) there are pairs and trio's next to eachother that have the same subject which cannot be coincidental.

We could belong together.

And, in the original listing, I Wanna Be With You and Applause. Makes total sense. DWUW and ARTPOP have a similar beat. I thought Swine and MANiCURE are kinda similar. Left with JnD alone :emma:

How do we know she recorded the vocals over the Gesaffelstein remix?

Do you hear that? It's poison.

Man, this just makes me sad. ARTPOP was truly THAT album. The concept and themes were ahead of their time and it's a shame that people don't appreciate that album as much as TF/M or BTW. It was well planned (song/instrumental vise) album, that got overshadowed by the drama behind the scenes. :fthis:

It's called sampling. :laughga:

Yeah.

Also, just curious about the rhetoric, when was it stated that Venus was her "full creation"? It was her first helm as lead producer, but that doesn't mean she built it purely from scratch, even if most of it was.

3 points in and ready for more

is it though?

It's obvious she sampled this

but it's not as obvious she formed a song around this

I don't think she centered it around the remix as heavily as you're claiming. I think she took it into consideration and it has a pounding industrial beat which is very much her style. But the Venus we hear on the album isn't exactly more one or the other imo. She took the hook or most obvious part of an already minimal synth track and morphed it into a gaga mess (in a good way imo). She took it into an entirely different direction.
