Jewels N Drugs Was Possibly the 3rd Single

ACT2

my friend who prefers to be anonymous was looking online for promo CD'ss and noticed that jewels and drugs was sent to radio stations on one CD. they believe that it is a possiblity that it was a consideration for the third single before GUY, the CD was sent to radios before GUY became a single so they believe that gaga's team changed their plans

i think this was a possiblity but i think that gaga thought that it was a safe idea not to make it the 3rd single cause of the stuff she did to that poor sweet era

Wow would ya look at that? Could you imagine all the ranting this fan base would be doing if it was. I think it would be neat tbh, Jewels n’ Drugs is a bop honestly. I mean that killer Instrumental tho. Rap songs these days wish they could have a instrumental that dope. :firega::rockstar::usrs:

LOVE JUNKIE

I mean it would of made sense for her to release it as a single to Urban radio but it would not have done well :reductive:

Spoiler

I actually really like the production of the song gagas parts just make me cringe

I think the song is a banger, and it would've been ahead of the curve with hip-hop/rap becoming huge.

That being said, I'm glad we got the video for ARTPOP/Venus/G.U.Y. instead

Let's all just enjoy the instrumental one last time then retire the song from her discography permanently

Well it's good to know that it could have been even a messier era :vegas:

I think Gaga just picked g.u.y. bc it was a fan favorite and rolled with it for us

Hi Its Nicole

Btw that compilation is a real thing many radio stations use Promo only. I subscribe to it so I have a lot of radio edits n stuff. It’s legit.

tru. things went to **** behind the scenes so she wanted to just give fans a big splashy finale (an ARTPOP film) and move on

I would LOVE to own a copy of a promo cd if it was in fact sent out.

Personally, it would have been interesting to see how it performed. I'm one of the few in the J&D fan club.
