What I said was that people gravitate to and sympathize with skinny white queens way more than they do plus sized or minority queens—so much to the point that someone is worried about Aqauaria’s mental health after winning being able to live up to expectations as opposed to caring about the mental health of many plus sized queens or queens of color on the show that faced far more difficulty in their life but are barely recognized, humanized, or cared about. To not at least acknowledge this difference is to not acknowledge the very mechanisms that made drag and LGBT culture ostrasized from mainstream heteronormative society for decades. Both were said in the past, Both have moved on from it, Neither of them say it publicly today. My whole point is, Why is Erueka the only one being attacked and criticized for it when she's apologized multiple times for it? black queens who have worked with her have said multiple times how sweet and caring Eureka is and far from racist. Phlop 4,773 Posted July 1, 2018 Share Posted July 1, 2018 I retract my previous statement about Aquaria. After really thinking about it, she really was the most deserving of the title. She was never in the bottom two, served looks, had great choreo and turned out to be a great actor/comedian in the right characters. I was shocked at her Bossy Rossy, Snatch Game, and Breastworld. I wasn’t crazy on her personality at first, and her arc being closely similar to Violet’s, but she literally blew everyone out the water for the most part. I just fear she doesn’t do much with her win like Violet. And although I was a HUGE Kameron fan, she really struggled on the latter half of the season (although her looks the first weeks were easily the BEST). And Asia had great looks, but some didn’t connect and her acting challenges were pretty bad. Eureka did pretty on par with Aquaria but some of her looks were pedestrian (that plaid evil sister look was a BOOT, and the judges raaaaved about her that week).
