ONE DIRECTION - $7,955,840.71 With two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 last year, U.K. boy band One Direction earned most of its revenue from album sales. One Direction kick off their hugely anticipated new world tour in London tonight (23rd February) and have been taking to Twitter to reveal their excitement and tease fans with details. The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars will perform the first of two nights inside the O2 Arena this evening and Niall Horan admitted he can't wait for everyone to get a look at the show. And your band is British/Irish, OOPS that wasn't a mistake either. They weren't obviously written that way, I write whatever comes to mind and sing it however it sounds. As for the British/Irish thing, the Irish guy was cast because he's an amazing singer, and if you're going to compare the two bands because of that then the same comparison can be made with The Wanted, The Saturdays and Girls Aloud.
