Shawn Mendes Promises BTS Collaboration Is Coming: 'It'll Happen'

Shawn Mendes spoke to a Toronto radio station about a collaboration with Korean boy band BTS, during which he assured listeners: “It'll happen.”   

"Latest on the collaboration, they're a hard group to get with,” Mendes told Kiss 92.5's The Roz & Mocha Show on Tuesday (June 19). “They're busy people. I have no lyrics on their collaboration yet. It’ll happen. Promise. I can't give you a date because we haven't hung out and wrote a song yet, but it will happen. 'Cause I love them and I think -- their fans too. So I promise.”

Only way for them to get relevance overseas outside of their annoying fanbase flooding/swarming the charts! Their music is mediocre, it always has been. It isn't their fault - they came from a smaller company and have still somehow managed to go against the odds which is respectable nonetheless. Thus said, what they've been releasing the past 2 years has been garbage in comparison to their previous work. Even then and moreso now, they will never be a good representation of actual K-Pop, not like the groups who have paved the way before (and even alongside) them and STILL manage to turn out bops a la BIGBANG, Wonder Girls, 2NE1 and EXO.
