Itâs fantadtic lyrically and melodically. Beautiful song. Â As for Venus: itâs psychedelic. Itâs more about the vibe. I think Venus WORKS for that very reason. Most critics also praised it for this and for the wild, ridiculous and campy lyricism. Â i can agree with the rest, though, even if I like the songs individually. You literally quote 'ARTPOP could mean anything' and then go on to ask why you don't get what she's saying..? This isn't just directed at OP but everyone in this thread. As a songwriter myself, I love metaphoric and sometimes confusing lyrics that don't spoon feed to the audience. Are you saying that they're immature/badly written?
