Y'all need to remember this album is not just Beyonce's project but also JAY Z's, so naturally compromised happened. To compare or having expectation for this album to hold a candle to Bey's solo albums where she can do whatever she wants and no need to consider another person is a little unfair tbh. I think the instrumentals are stronger than the lyrics. I do like how Lemonade and 4:44 talk about their marriage from each of their perspectives respectively, and now they address it together on the same album. Jay Z said in an interview that LEMONADE was supposed to a joint album, but it finally turned out to be Beyoncé's solo album, but so much songs were still unused.
