Phlop 4,773 Posted June 15, 2018 Share Posted June 15, 2018 I don’t think Gaga is aware Hayley covered her songs etc. I think only some of her fan base knows she’s a Gaga fan (and they probably aren’t the types to like Gaga’s type of music). With Cardi it’s different since she’s soo exposed right now so it probably just got back to Gaga that Cardi is a huge fan. I’m sure Gaga is aware of who Hayley is and appreciates her voice. And maybe they’ve talked, I mean no one here thought Gaga was on friendly terms with Katy/Lana/Mariah/Adele/etc until pics surface online. You may be right, but Hayley was huge when she recorded her cover of Bad Romance back in early 2010, so I'm surprised it didn't get back to Gaga that she's a huge fan. Hayley is known worldwide and she's FAR more talented than any of the other "artists" outside of Gaga that people here like. She's just as talented as Gaga. These days people value main pop artists and Hayley doesn't fit in that quality these kids adore today. They don't understand pop rock. Everything needs to be a pop banger to be considered "good". The same kids called Troye Sivan's "Dance To This" trash while it's a solid R&B pop track that lets you just enjoy the music after a long day at work (though it doesn't push Troye and Ariana enough artistically).
