Christina Aguilera - Liberation (Album Discussion Thread)

Some forgettable tracks, but overall pretty good tbh. Liberation is a beautiful opener, Maria, Deserve, masochist are the best album tracks and the singles are amazing too.

This is her Dangerous Woman. A true stellar album but somehow kinda underrated on the charts (the singles). Every track is good except the last 2 and Deserve imo.

I wanted Maria to be a ballad so bad. the kid voice gets annoying tbh. It didn't need the trap sound either

Anyway i truly think a huge chunk of her problem lies in the videography. Her songs are def. good enough for the hot 100, but the hype around her is so meh. She needs to make better/more thoughtful/provocative videos and create a hype around her brand again.

Like I Do and Maria can def. be a hit if pushed properly.

I actually REALLY like this album so far (listened from start to Fall in Line)! She really has no rules for genre. Sure some parts are cringy, but hey our girl Xtina served in 2018!

maria - 9/10 - it grew on me, this is a bop (still wish it was a ballad though)

twice - 10/10 (top 5 best songs of 2018 )

i don't need it anymore - 10/10

accelerate - 8/10

She needed  Cardi or even Nicki on “Right Moves” it’s such a bop..

”Deserve” great track love the vibe and it has a very liberating feel to it..

“Pipe”  should be a single in my opinion
