I have all her albums except her last 3. Here’s hoping I would be compelled to get this one.

She's been playing it really safe since the American Life fiasco. Instead of making music that catered to her fans and what they love about her, she panders to the public with questionable collaborations and trendy producers.

I mean her magnum opus Ray Of Light was completely not-commercial.

Confessions was definitely not pandering to the public. Dance music wasn't anywhere near popular for a few years after it came out. It's more dramatic to say that American Life scared her away or whatever you're trying to say here, but it's simply untrue

Confessions is set of danceable tunes (cue ARTPOP) - the songs are good, but it is pretty safe for Madonna. Disco isn't exactly original. We've had like, many disco revival over the decades (Kylie comes to mind with Spinning Around 5 years before Confessions).

Just wanted to a make a thread collecting all of the information and news coming from Madonna’s new album!

“Disco” and “A New Method”

WE ARE NOT READY FOR WHAT SHE IS ABOUT TO SERVE US WITH. I do not know how to prepare myself

Thank you for doing this. It crossed my mind to start one last night and I came on and BAM you did it already.

Lemme tell you why I feel theres some true Madonna returning.  One word. Mirwais.  I trust Mirwais. Knowing they have some multiple sessions and she refers to him as DISCO god gives me chills. My prayer is for Confessions meets American Life.  *sigh*  just typing it feels good lol.   I can see she is TRYING again and that's the Madonna I know and love. She is a historical landscape and I'm ready for the album at 60 years old that reminds the children who she IS AND WHAT SHE IS!  Yaasss! Haha.  The ONLY problem?

This waiting for you. I'm waiting. Cant you see I'm waiting for you dont be a flop!

Disco can be anything u want with that certain beat. I dont feel the genre was explored enough. It came and went too fast.

Confessions looks and should be safe but listen to Issac, Like it or Not, Forbidden Love.  That album was not safe.

Can anybody not enjoy music anymore without caring about stupid ass charts? :oprah:

I meant it both commercially and musically, her albums have been very underwhelming in quality for a long time

I meant it not only commercially but in terms of quality, she hasn't done anything outstanding or interesting for more than 10 years:saladga:

Luxe Ford

I got a rooster in my ears...that's not right...I pricked up my ears when I found out she's working with Mirwais again.

I love his stuff! And they say the French does it better.

What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford

I need Rebel Heart 2.0 please am I asking for too much

Yes..... Rebel Heart had 24 songs. There is no need for a 2.0 of that. It already is in itself a 2.0 and a 3.0
