EU is very strongly protecting net neutrality Maybe not net neutrality, but it would change something about copyright law which would make it impossible to use a bit of copyrighted material for commentary or other changes, and it would also make a tax appear to just link to other websites. Basically, all smaller news agencies would die out. Also something about filtering everything as you upload, so free speech would be dead I'd recommend googling it, I'm really not the best person to explain this... It's gonna hurt a lot of businesses though, they're fault if they wanna charge for something and people go elsewhere. For example if SC or IG started charging the userbase will drop significantly i believe. P*rn on the other hand...who needs groceries? Instead, they will go after the mega corps like Netflix and tell them they will have to pay the ISP companies more if they want full speed traffic.
