Would the DWUW video be too similar to S&M

The main similarity would probably be that have a douche in them.

Anyway, I'm glad we don't have the video. Even without the R.Kelly and Richardson hoo-ha I'd have a hard time stomaching the visuals I've seen of it.

It could be that it was edited in a way that made Gaga come across as a powerful woman, but what I've seen is Cake Like Cringy.

Because media wasn't by Gaga's side during the ARTPOP era. Having a person such as R. Kelly finger you in a music video would do nothing but damage your career.

I remember when the snippets of the video and leaked and even the Croatian media wrote about it. There was literally NO positive comments. Even my parents literally asked what she was thinking.

Nothing positive could come out of that video. It's good she never released it.

In the video she isn't fingered tho, just checked under a sheet for a few seconds and put to sleep 

I guess there were too many fake reviews and the media exaggerated them more

To everyone who's saying they have different meanings, S&M and DWUW actually do have a similar message.

DWUW looks cheap and makes the song sound like another Blurred Lines 

Scrapping it was the best decision

OT: It kinda reminds me of S&M but the newspaper concept was already tired at that point

as much as I would LOVED to see the full video cause it was directed by Terry Richardson ( I know y'all are gonna drag me cause he sucks as a person but he's a photography genius and Wrecking Ball is a f* savage video) and it looks expensive and fine.

I'm fully aware it could have ended her career at a point she couldn't get any more bad press. and it would have made her looked really bad also. TIHTY may have not existed at all if she didn't abort this video so yeah. we couldn't have had that happen. she was smart. even tho I was piiiiiiiiiiissed at the time like a lot of us. 

and no, I don't think it would have  looked a lot like S&M. I bet there are almost 2 and a half minutes of brand new footage and sets we didn't get to see. like the mirror bodysuit and the  weight lifting for example. this video DEFINITELY looks badass. but yeah I'm glad it's not for the GP to see.
