It's a real shame that Banks feels the need to constantly burn bridges, in another world her and Ru could have made incredible music together. Rupaul is an icon of queer culture and has done more for the rights of all types of LGBTQ with visibility alone not to mention other amazing ventures in the past 20 years more than almost anyone except maybe Ellen. Side with the drama filled hag over Ru for a song. There is a pretty good chance nothing will come of this, the song is still up for sale, useable with rights from Ru, it'll probably be back up on streaming soon, use that moment to reflect on the fact that you think it's cool to defend Azelia who uses gay culture for a leg up and then spits in the face of everything good about us the next second. Nobody is discrediting RuPaul of his importance or his charity work for the LGBTQ, but come ON nobody is deserving of being seen as GOD. And that was my statement bc many ppl see RuPaul as a god and they excuse him for everything (like the transphobic comments) but he apologized which is fine because nobody is perfect.
