The only good thing about the Oct 5 release is her chance to go #1 is higher.

Because the Sept 28 release would have caused Gaga fans to buy it then and then the GP to buy it movie week release (Mamma Mia, Black Panther, and The Greatest Showman all shot up during their movie week release)

Now fans and the GP who saw the movie will purchase it in the same week for maximum sales

I hope you are right because I still want that soundtrack to snatch that #1. I think it will be much harder to achieve that without a prior (promo) single and releasing it at 5th of October rather than on 28th of September.

I mean singles for soundtracks don’t really do that much until the movie is out either way unless it was All The Stars with BP. I’m definitely right about the fact that this will provide a maximum sales week but TOP could surprise or worse, another artist could surprise drop.

What I don't understand with Oct 5 release is the movie opens Oct 3 in some countries, so people there won't be able to listen to the soundtrack after watching the movie until Oct 5 ?

I see TØP doing 110-140k SPS

Hoping we can pull of 200-250k somehow

We need movie tickets bundled with the soundtrack. :huntyga:

If only she did Vegas ticket bundles, we would have already done +100k :vegas:

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

My point was :

imagine someone, non gaga stan, watching the movie on Oct 3, be like "omg that song !!" and then when that person goes home she/he is not able to listen to that song until 2 days later. That seems messy to me for a movie soundtrack.

Its only like 2 countries though. And not even Top 5 music markets.
