So I failed my class this year and will be taking 2nd year again. 

One year of school fee would pay plane tickets from Istanbul to Las Vegas meet and Greet the most expensive tickets and 8 nights of park hotel. 

If I didnt fail I would meet Gaga and do a Las Vegas Trip.

I feel horrible for failing my class right now

Apparently they will still air the categories, it's just that they will present them during commercial breaks and air the winning moments later.

But how does this cut down the duration of the ceremony? It might be shorter because you don't have to go through the nominees and read out the names, but still it doesn't reduce much of the duration, does it?

They will just announce the winners without the nominees I guess, and they won't show when they walk to get the award etc.

Failing is nothing special. Everyone has failed at least once in their lifetime. Stop thinking about "what if"s and learn from these mistakes.
