I want Gaga to do a traditional release this time around so that way she's actually FORCED to promote the singles and understand the importance of streaming. That way she'll rack up a lot of SPS. The 3 months between the single and album should be all about adapting to streaming, that way she'll have nothing to worry about once the album comes out.

I agree. The only downside is that pre-release SPS is ONLY helpful for the RIAA certification. All those units are never seen on the BB200.

But the promo tracks will automatically get more streams than the album tracks first week since they've been out for a bit and people have discovered them, therefore there will be more SPS first week.

Here's what I want:

1st single (and music video the same day) - April 2019
promo single + music video + album pre-order - June 2019
2nd single + music video - July 2019
promo single + music video - early August 2019
Album - Mid August 2019

13 tracks on standard edition, 16 tracks on deluxe. August is perfect since its before the Grammy deadline but its close enough to Q4 to rack up the holiday sales. I don't care if it "ruins the surprise" when the album comes because we'll have plenty of things to look forward to which will build hype for the album (we'll still have 12 new tracks).

She could actually start the LG6 era as early as May 2019 tbh. The Oscars will be held Feb 24th.

(but we all know she's releasing at least a single this year, so...)

TØP is highkey flopping and I'm shocked

Jumpsuit is terrible. I was into their whole cryptic thing for like a week and then they release… was so dissapointed. Not catchy at all. Quite loud. 2/5. The other track is a 3/5. At least the video was cool.

Sweetener is the perfect release schedule.

Which is why she won't take notes on it :trollga:

I just listened to it for the first time and could not sit through it. Yikes. Well this is good for ASIB if they flop since they’re releasing during its 2nd week (Oct 5)

Ugh I stanned in the Blurryface revival era, and Vessel is such a good album. I hope their next song is what we've been looking for.
