Ok so for 2011 and 2012 ones: the first pop girl on the playlist gets the new cover. Idk if they will change the formula or not but if it continues:

Beyonce will get the 2009 cover (Single Ladies) : Poker Face is 3rd song.

Katy will get the 2010 cover (California girls) : Bad Romance is 2nd song.

Katy Will get the 2013 cover (Roar) : Applause is in the middle.
