In 1993, 2 Bodyguard songs were nominated for Best Original Song. Both lost to A Whole New World. Disney was having a golden age at the oscars at the time since the previous year Beauty and the Beast won Original Song. If we can get 2 noms  ...but what if they split the vote?

It’s a huge ballad in the vein of I Will Always Love You. Impeccable vocals and tear jerking song. Not sure if radio would play it in this climate but it’s very good.
