Why is it smashing? And why is Drake still thriving? He's such a mediocre urban artist. Even Chris Brown is better than him.. Kendrick Lamar is excellence in today's landscape while Drake is just bland

Is no one else concerned about Mark’s “LG6 is coming this year” posts? I know they’re not gonna release it during the ASIB era, but November and December are bad months to start an era, especially when you could wait til February and debut the song at the Grammys like Born This Way was (ugh it was too iconic and smart). 

She dan release when she wants, but if it’s not then, I’m not expecting this era to slay.

I think the way this is shaping up Sep/Oct lead with Nov/Dec album is good. She'll maximize her album sales in the holiday season. Pure sales are near dead. Not joking dead but like actual dead. This Christmas season I believe is the last time albums will sell. CDs are being phased out. iTunes is planning to phase out by 2019 (which is where the remainder of pure sales are coming from). I bet by the time 2019 Christmas season is here and new BB year starts the entire BB200 will be streaming. Taking advantage of having ASIB and LGB out in this season even if they clash is smart Imo

Eh I don’t think so… fall time is movie time. Being in a big movie has always been Gaga’s Dream, so she’d definitely want to focus on it. I think she’ll be there on all the late night shows, interviews and ET episodes with Bradley promoting the movie, bc it’s their names on it. And then to release the lead within a month of the movie is a bad lewk and a messy idea. LG6 will definitely drown out ASIB and that’s not that cute.

Yeah it could go either way but whether it turns out good or bad I still feel like the eras are going to clash. I mean Mark Nilan himself made it clear today that we're getting the music they're working on this year.

I believe she would have a harder time releasing in Q1, so I guess the end of the year is actually a better choice.

Agreed to some extent, though I do not believe she will push a lead single in September, since this is before ASIB is being released. Sure, we don't really know what they have in store for us in terms of promo, but it seems kinda - not probable imo. Both eras could clash but still, it's hard to imagine how they will handle that. I def agree with Christmas release.

If they're about LG6 I can understand she wants to release in November-December 2018 for the movie's hype, but definitely I don't like that idea 

I'd wait til 2019 to separate both Eras clearly and work 100% well on both

How did they film the music scenes with music that is still in the writing process in July 2018.

Maybe they're reworking some songs and adding the last touches to the soundtrack

I really think some songs in the soundtrack won't sound exactly like in the movie 

In another hand, it could be LG6, of course
