Million Reasons is soooo amazing like Lady Gaga's best single

But it seems that some songs on the soundtrack will surpass it.

how can someone with so much little talent like Selena have so many streams on Spotify?

Because the songs are good and interscope actually promote them on spotify :ohwell:

Mess I thought Oct 4 would be premiere night but the theater I'm seeing ASIB in now has a new Oct 3 showing. And no it's not the special AMC thing because that's on Oct 2.

Hopefully the one who predicted 44M will be right (or ASIB outpeform it) and venom be panned by critics and underpeform and ASIB end up winning the first weekend. :vegas:

they're not Variety's, they're studio predictions I think.

They just announced VENOM will be rated PG-13, and not that ASIB really had a huge shot to go #1 against it, but now there is just... no way lol.

And that's fine! What matters for the movie is how it performs in total.

venom is a big budget superhero movie aka the movies that gross the most on opening weeks. ASIB will do fine, its not the same genre at all. it will have more longetivity in the end, I'm calling it.

Yeah, Venom has a budget of $100m, so no chance of beating that but ironically ASIB could cover its own budget in the opening weekend while Venom might take some weeks to break even.

Apparently Warner Bros is projecting a $25M opening weekend but they're most likely trying to keep their estimate low:

"Warner Bros. is likewise being more conservative in projecting a $25 million debut for A Star Is Born."

Variety/Hollywood Reporter are reporting an estimated $28-30M opening weekend for ASIB. BoxOffice.com projected a $35M-55M opening weekend for ASIB two weeks ago, wonder if they will update that number soon. For what it's worth, most of the users on the /r/BoxOffice subreddit are expecting it to hit at least $30M on its opening weekend easily.

He did like 70k last time. There's not way he's doing over 50k this time plus he's below her in preorders.
