I was at the gym 3 days ago and they played Bad Romance and then I went to the gym today and they played Marry The Night. The sad part was as I was lifting I noticed Marry The Night and literally almost dropped the weight cuz I lost focus and wanted to see if anyone was bopping to the song but of course no one was cuz not many ppl in the GP REALLY knows Marry The Night like that, no one cares that much and most ppl at gyms listen to music on their own phone with earphones  

tbh like 3 years ago I was at this little bar and there was karaoke and between the breaks they played marry the night and a group of girls I sort of knew from afar but not personally decided to dance and they were singing parts of the song so I jumped on stage with them to sing with them  I'll always remember that in my head about that song

I swear when LG6 drops haters are gonna start appreciating Joanne for what it was, it happens everytime:

The Fame Monster released / TheFamesters complaining she’s looking too ugly/weird, didn’t like her raw voice, want songs easier to listen to 

BTW released / FameMonsters complaining it was too preachy, the production was too loud and she needed to be more colorful 

ARTPOP released / BTWsters complaining the production was bland, lyrics aren’t meaningful, the album isn’t inspiring 

Joanne released / ARTPOPsters complaining the album isn’t EDM, production is boring, lack of hooks, etc

Lol, who complained Joanne wasn’t EDM? Even ARTPOP was late to the EDM trend, I highly doubt anyone wanted Joanne to be it.

I still think it's funny that all of 2012 and the first half of 2013 we had Feel So Close, Sweet Nothing, and I Need Your Love by Calvin, Clarity by Zedd, Too Close by Alex Clare, We Found Love/WHYB by Rihanna and probably like a dozen other EDM/pop tracks were slaying and then as soon as Applause/ARTPOP comes out Roar, Royals, We Cant Stop, Treasure, Hold On We're Going Home etc start doing well. I know Applause isn't as EDM as the other songs mentioned above but it was still the most electropop song on the radio at the time. It sounded so out of place when I would hear it on radio but in a good way.

She has to have new music out to promote the residency.

MGM will do that for her. Britney Jean flopped bc Britney’s residency got in the way of TV promo. I’ll be so annoyed if the same happens for Gaga.

It cannot possibly be ASIB they're working on. Mindtrappa confirmed like a month ago that Mark and Gaga were putting the final touches on the soundtrack in terms of mixing. That is literally the last step as shown in FF2 when Gaga is with Mark and they're still tweaking Joanne songs and by the end of that night turn it in to Interscope. The movie was supposed to be out in May I don't see how they would still be in the recording process when they were in the mixing process in June. Mark Nilan is clearly teasing it being apart from ASIB too. He did work on the Cure not just the soundtrack. 

Do soundtracks have to have only music from the movie? I remember the Black Panther soundtrack having like 17 songs but I’ve only heard like 3 in the actual movie. What if she’s just treating us w pop on ASIB bc we asked for it, and Ally becomes a pop star in the movie?

Yeah, ofc. This is normal. Happens with every artist, especially ones like Gaga who change their sound so much. Gaga just had a habit of acting in a way that draws die hards, so that’s why people actually care enough to speak out about it. She’ll gain new fans w LG6 tho (and probably lose them w LG7, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there ).

Exactly, they never really enjoy the moments, they'll rather be nostalgic and be mad cause they don't have the past era Gaga and then a couple of years after, they start realizing how her last era was actually amazing. Pretty much every Gaga stan on twitter does this (I'm not dong this, I'll much rather enjoy the moment)
