I mean MR audio on YT has 77 million views on YT. People wanted to listen to the song on YT clearly so a video with replay value would surely have over 250 million+ views at the moment.

PI, JW and joanne are good videos even if some of them are not singles or flopped.

just like you, they prefer to focus more on the views OR SALES rather than the actual video

I dont like the PI video but I LOVE the song. I dont like or dislike a video if the song is a flop or not.

But I was reasoning with the user I quoted as to why the videos feel underwhelming even if they are not.

Gaga and her teams logic when it comes to music videos since the btw era 
-Let's release amazing videos that are like short films for the last single of the album that are likely to flop! (MTN and G.U.Y)
- Look guys, this song could be our next #1, if only we release a amazing video that can push it even more! No? Ok let's just shoot it in this studio so we can be done with it and release something (TEOG, MR) 
- Wow these songs really show potential to be huge and really seem to connect with the gp. Let's just not release a music video for it so the song doesn't becomes to big (DWUW, The cure) 

Seriously, there hasn't really been a great match with the video and the singles success since the TFM era except for Applause and You and i(and even then yai was mostly a local succcess)
