I believe, the Venice Film Festival will be the first to see the film officially either in competition or outside (more likely). It will be followed by Telluride fest, and then a big promo blast of North American premiere at TIFF of course.

Then a major press tour in LA and NYC, and closer to the opening date movie premieres in the US and Europe (depending on opening schedule).

Now, with ASIB being a musical, Warner would most likely keep stocking the fire with a song from the soundtrack. When? Good question. But definitely before August.

This, and the soundtrack album released September 28th so it's eligible for the Grammys next year.

A lot of sites are pissed. It's gonna be fun really. Especially Madonna and Beyonce fans as they've wanted an Oscar more than any other singer. Though Bey has Lion King to add her name to a song so the Hive will be more tame but Madonna's time is done. Hopefully we don't become too annoying and just let the critics/media do the talking for us.

So in Japan the movie will be called “Ally” (YAS they know who they have to stan) and it will be released on December 21st.

Is that release date normal for Japan? I mean, do movies usually get released THAT late there? Will it affect the box score?
