Can Gaga really return to „the old Gaga“ ?

No she can't, she hasn't  got the same energy, she isn't the same innocent girl she was once, she has achieved a lot that I feel she doesn't  need to prove anything.

Surely her priorities have changed aswell; in her mind pregnancy or either a wedding are maybe more important than #1's...

She wanted fame  but fame is a monster. I always feel that for most of successful artists, their dream become their nightmare, it's not easy to explain it, but I think Gaga is the perfect example.

And she is ill. How could she have 5 different outfits in a day like she used to? It was so much effort, so much energy. She lived for it. She can't do that anymore.

She has done so much in just 10 years, she has her legacy. She has so much to offer but her prime, her peak belong to the past, we have to assume it.

The critics were wrong though. Joanne is a great album.

Actually at this point I don't care for there opinion much

And also at the begining Joanne was not that much well received but by the end of the era it started to receive more positive reviews and was seen as an influence for Kesha , Miley and Justin Timberlake's albums.

Artistry won.

Hello Guys,

So I made a point in the thread „Can Gaga afford to make another non-pop album?“. My awnser was if she can  afford to make another Pop album and return to „Gaga“ from the past? It really is something I think about almost every day and finally wanted to make a thread about it (and I really hope I am wrong tbh).

With Joanne Gaga showed a side wich she didn’t show before. The GP would call it „her real side“. I see it more as „an other side“ of her but well, the GP is kind of close minded :huntyga:. My point is. Would people believe Gaga if she returns to „the Gaga“ she was before? I honestly could see many critics that it’s fake and played and not real.

I could see a „modern Gaga“ with some of the looks she gave us in New York. Classy but Gaga. Idk if you see what i mean. I feel like the music in the next album will be very different from what we know before.

But for me there is one thing sure. She can not come back to „the old Gaga“. People (The GP) would not believe her, would say she is acting. Many of them think that JoanneGa is the only realGa.

I hope you got my point :) And I am intrested in your opinions!

Can you go back and be who you were 10 years ago? Pls.

I mean that’s what you’re asking really. She’s not the same anymore. She has matured and is in a different head space now. Each album is a different way of thinking and feeling.

Still lost the Grammys :messga:

Grammys are clueless. I mean, Lemonade lost Album Of The Year. :toofunny:

I think a lot of what people consider “the old Gaga” is in itself just a younger girl.

When I think about being 23 and the maturity I had back then vs now at 32 I can see why Gaga is maturing as a person and as an artist.

We can always go back to pop, but a lot of the attitude and atmosphere is young of The Fame and TFM eras. Even with the looks and fashions of NYC recently, you can feel an air of maturity with her. How she interacts with her fans, and even her friends.
