As long as it is authentically her, then yes.  So many people are concerned with keeping her in this tiny little box and I just don’t understand why. If anything, its exciting that she is so versatile.

What is with people on this site and hits? Shes already passed into the status of cultural icon, she doesnt need hits to survive. She will still sell out shows regardless, and people will still pay huge bucks to book her. You people just want to stick to generic club dance songs and its annoying. Shes much more talented and versatile than that. Stick with Ariana Grande she is more your speed. I dont mean that as an insult, I legitimately am recommending her, she gets hits, she stays in the pop girl box, and has a ton of rap features. That is clearly what Gaga is trying to avoid and her fans should support her in the endeavor

I am convinced she'll survive anything except for maybe going completely unplugged. Her trademark is solid enough by now. 

I love that thing about Gaga that if you try putting her in a box, she'll blow that box up.

Joanne was a good album and was definitely needed for Gaga to show a new side to her. It improved her reputation among the older generations. But now the question is, can Gaga really really afford to make yet another "experimental" album after ARTPOP and Joanne, and move further away from mainstream pop?

I feel if she does, she might risk losing a big part of her fanbase, as they may finally give up and move on with their lives. My issue is, LG6 is probably the only album we will have from Gaga in the next 3-5 years. In my opinion, this is not really the time to experiment. It's a hit or miss for her.

I don't mind her taking as much time as she needs. But the guests in her studios in the past few days have me concerned. It almost seems like she's working with people who have no names like this Tommy London guy? Gaga's albums shouldn't be a laboratory for new people to learn how to produce music. 

I hope that I'm wrong. But I'd like to see her more often with Bloodpop and people from her caliber. 

And as far as Jazz is concerned, I hope she's doing some cute songs with Tony Bennett which is fine, but I really hope it has nothing to do with LG6 either.

Lady Gaga's LG6 needs to be like Beyoncé's 2013 album. Many people thought Beyoncé was over after 4 and its poor commercial performance. Then she did the superbowl and wowed everybody. After that she released her self-titled album which cemented her reputation as one of the greatest living singers. I'm hoping to see a similar outcome from LG6.

 

 

 

Bear in mind Gaga was once a nobody as was RedOne and DJWS and Zedd. Just because they haven't hit their break yet doesn't mean they aren't incredibly talented. Boyz Noize, for instance, is incredibly talented and well known in techno fields. And with regards to Beyonce, she's brought on plenty of lesser known or up and coming acts herself with her albums. It's good to have untapped talent; it means your sound will be fresh and last.

Honestly if she released a super old timey-whipper snapping-baby booming- Alzheimer's -ancient 1920's- banjo fused - death metal country album, I would buy it instantly even it costs $100! 

The thing about Gaga is that she can take the most unpopular, most hated and suckiest thing in the world and put her soul and a little magic touch to it and turn it into something beautiful and crazy and unbelievably amazing to listen to.

It's not really about being in a tiny box. 

The Fame, The Fame Monster and BTW were all albums that are revolutionary and outside the box. But it was done properly. They were sonically cohesive and had successful radio-friendly singles. All of them were nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy's for a reason.

That's what I'd like to expect from her with the next album.

I understand where you are coming from. I think I just mean confining her to a particular genre. I think a lot of fans aren’t looking at it from your perspective. They want dance music or its awful.

And yes I know Gaga so well she's my life idol but when it comes to her career I know she was on top of the world when she was unique artistic and experimental within her limits and the other side of her that took herself so serious as the goddess of love acted as she's 60 and recorded Jazz (which I still totally admire tho because she's Gaga duh) and ya'll call it experimental af received the weakest sales lowest reviews and mostly negative reception. So it's ok to say we want the POP queen to slay.
