culturalbaptism 2,919
I Won't Dance is enjoyable. I just hate that these are not her songs. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

Quartz 12,535
Whenever I think she's not on the same league as Whitney Houston, I listen to C2C. It makes me realize that they are in the same league, just different specializations. Cheek to cheek is also a very unique Gaga move. Only she can do that as opposed to her contemporaries. It gained her a lot of new fans and it gave her more depth as an artist. Now, I am just waiting for that metal album and she'll be the most versatile chanteuse out there. Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
melodichard 3,769
I love C2C! I remember being so in love with her giant advertisements at H&M around the holidays during the promotional campaign, as well as Barnes & Noble. I always listen to it during the holidays. It’s just a great album and makes me feel good!

The album shows off her vocal ability, is creative as hell in a era ruled by generic ass electronic and trap stuff, and its very wholesome. It was an album of covers performed in the same way as the originals? Basically everything about this era was great apart from the fact that none of the songs were her own. The fashion was good, and her voice was incredible, even if I personally wasn't a fan of pretty much every song on the album. Also this is one of my fave pics of her: I hope for C3C they might go down a more dark, smokey, atmospheric route, à la Bang Bang and especially the 'Twin Peaks' soundtrack. Obviously I meant creative as most pop stars arent teaming up with 92 year old swing singers to do 70 year old songs. Thought that was implied. (Realized that last part was rude, didnt mean for it to come off that way.)

GypsyBabe 22,836
Why would C2C get hate? Its awesome and so cool that Gaga had an opportunity to do that project. Tony helped her to love music again, and it boosted her image a whole lot. Old people respect her now and its just such a great album. Her voice on it is amazing an interesting. Like theatrical jazz. Its really a gem. ⚯͛
