I hate to be going here, but there are only two options,

He is literally insane and a sociopath, or she has been lying/stretching the truth.

I can't believe he'd want to hurt his reputation even further.

Honest to god, I feel like Kesha is lying. She hasn’t won in court, her story doesn’t add up, and there is something about the way she has gone about this that it was all to get out of the contract.

Dont come at me saying we should always believe the women, cause I ALWAYS look at situations objectively. I’m just talking about THIS situation

If I was accused of something and after a long case that ended up being thrown out it had damaged my reputation I’d want to go on the offensive as well :spin:

Not saying Dr. Luke is truly innocent or not because we don’t know, I’m just saying that if I was in his situation and I hadn’t done what I was being accused of then I’d want to hit back at whoever it was, it makes sense

Was there any proof that he did the alleged things? I'm always confused when everyone automatically sides with Kesha

All of this basically

I know more often than not victims are telling the truth and it sucks

But none of us know either of them personally nor were we there. We don't know what happen

There's also half truths as well which is not uncommon. For example someone DID do something inappropriate but the victim exaggerates the degree to which it happened

My point is I we don't know and I see ppl being so passionate on this thread as if it's a no brainer that it happened. The fact that he's a jerk isn't really any proof

I mean y’all said it yourself, even if he wins no one (major) will want to work with him again. Imagine Kesha is lying, his career and legacy is dead and ruined lmao I’d for sure sue her. Is he innocent? Idk, he’s shady regardless, but the case wasn’t even won so..

So basically he wants half of his networth (100M), or 20 times Kesha's networth. (5M) Basically she'll be in a life-long debut. She needs Ms. Swift to lend her some lawyers.

But wait, it's not actually happening right? Like the judge threw out his claim right?

Can he just leave her alone?

Like he is still making millions and he is still not happy with that? I can't..

lol

This whole situation is just messy and I can't believe it's still happening.

But he is just doing the most expected thing. I know you pop stans are too blind to think, but she didn't win the case and it did hurt his reputation. So of course he would do something like this.

Why would Kesha put her music career on halt for years and face all of this doubt victim blaming, a trial where she had to recount and rehash her experiences and go through all of that trouble when at the time Ke$ha's public perception was "trashy party girl that makes pop music" just to get out of a contract, and possibly end her entire career, and slander an innocent man in the process.

Some of you are suggesting that this reality seems more likely than "Dr. Luke raped Kesha" because we "don't have hard evidence" even in light of the statistics on false rape accusations and the insignificance of rape convictions (most convicted don't go to jail or face serious punishment, another reason why people don't come forward - our society isn't equipped to take rape seriously, even though it is a major crime, because of sexism, outdated ideas about consent, etc). Like, Occam's razor much?

I'm not saying this is 100% proof that he did it (though I do believe he did), but this doesn't make sense to me. His behavior around the entire thing too does not read like the behavior of an innocent man, but of a vicious predator that continues to police and manipulate his victim for financial gain. It's not like Kesha has been top of the charts for a very long time, yet he still forced her to work for him and he would make money off of her work, despite being possibly removed from Kemosabe Records... If that's not extreme greed and manipulation, idk what is  Why else do you want to remain attached at the hip to someone that may have socially ruined your career, if not to assert pressure and control them.
