I've never seen a designer more passionate about their work. He didn't make clothing, he made pieces of art. Lee and Gaga are kindred spirits. They do the same things, but with a different medium. I think that's why she wears him so well. like a ghost, i vanish into you

To bad he committed suicide, probably one of the biggest tragedies in the world of fashion!! If not the biggest. I cried for days. Whenever I'm looking for inspiration, I flip through my copy of Savage Beauty. There's so much emotion and history in his work, it's mind-boggling. Burton's collections look good, but they just don't feel the same. like a ghost, i vanish into you

Miel 15,009
I really like McQueen's designs. Much of the time they are very regal, yet in a strange and otherworldly way (same as Burton's). That particular look fits Gaga well, imo. I also really liked the EOG fashion era (specifically all the summer 2011 Asian fashions). Though a lot of it was vintage Versace (most was pretty cool), I think the highlights were definitely the use of patterns. It just fit the overall look (including the different wigs, makeup) very well. <- not a specific designer, I know :haha: 3 points in and ready for more
KillerQueen 8
I liked the stuff that Gaga's HAUS did for her during Bad Romance best of all.
