Ever since BTW, Gaga's influence on pop culture has slowly declined. Besides the Super Bowl, Gaga doesn't seem to be as culturally impactful as before and it seems that she realizes that seeing how she pivoted and tried to appeal to an older audience through C2C, Joanne, and ASIB.

So, is Gaga still culturally relevant? If not, will Gaga become culturally relevant again with LG6?

Just like madonna, Britney, Michael, etc. she will always be culturally relevant. If I recall, Joanne was named time and time again an influencer of many of the pop albums that came after it. No matter what she does, she gets talked about. No matter what she creates, people follow suit.

You guys seriously don’t understand how pop culture works anymore. It’s not like 2011 anymore. Cultural relevancy isn’t being everywhere all at once. Many of the newer artists are citing her as an influence (finally). She is a pop culture cornerstone.

Oh, and this idea that she only did C2C and Joanne because “she realized this” is so stupid. OMG. She did those albums because she wanted to because she doesn’t care about that superficial stuff anymore. Maybe you should grow up and do the same.

Those are legends. Gaga is not a legend and has not made half the impact they have

Nobody really talks about her anymore. A lot of people don't even know that she sings Million Reasons.

People remember Poker Face, and to an extent Bad Romance. Those songs definitely made an impact in the few years following, but now they've done all they can tbh. Even Gaga's fashion and its impact (shown in the "before + after gaga" image) lasted like 2 years

Oh honey.

Gaga most certainly did have the same impact as Madonna (not michael). Her first 3-4 years in the industry were truly LEGENDARY!

No other girl since Britney has done what gaga did for music, music videos, fashion, and pop culture.

Gaga has definitely earned her spot right next to Madonna when it comes to impact

people remember the blonde and the hairbow, the meatdress, the homemade outfits, her penis, the religious mess, Just Dance, Poker Face, Bad Romance, Applause and more. her career isn't just remembered at Poker Face and some of Bad Romance.

you could walk up to anyone and say "do you remember lady gaga?" and they will know who she is and remember the storm she was back in 2008 until 2013 be it hater or fan, but they'll very likely say "i wonder where she went"

Madonna essentially created the female pop star. Gaga made weirdness I guess a bit more accepted

People remember the meat dress, vessel, and a couple of her songs. She did have a big impact, but not on the level of Michael or Madonna.

as of right now, no she's not on the same level but she has decades left

she's certainly up there with them and like i said, people will remember a lot of her TF/M era style considering she was inescapable, not just a couple of songs and a meat dress

if that's how insignificantly you view gaga and her contribution to pop culture then :laughga: idk what else to say except you're in my (sinners) prayer(s)

Her decades left would only get her to legend status if she was actually relevant :selena:

well she's not exactly forgotten lol she just did one of most watched SB shows, had a sold out NA/Europe tour and is about to star in a movie

not being present on the charts doesn't mean she's irrelevant

Knife

Gaga's relevancy has waned, but that's because she's shifted her focus from being the wacky costume-wearer the media and public likes to gawk at to someone who's more focused on showcasing her talents.
