Miel 15,009 Posted May 15, 2018 Share Posted May 15, 2018 Interesting thing to think about. Gaga's popularity soared because she was, initially, a fairly "conventional" blonde, sexy, skinny pop star. But, there was always something a little weird about her (in retrospect, the "Candy Warhol"/Fame visual metaphors were and are genius). As she started to push the envelope even further and further, the world couldn't tear their eyes away. She was a live-action subversion of what we viewed was a pop star, and that's what got her to where she is today, both the good and the bad. 3 points in and ready for more Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Today, LG is bigger than Katy while Britney may never have another successful era. So no, being prettier would not have made any difference. She is known for her weird, unconventional style. I actually think it gives her an advantage. Britney is already looking kind of old and bad, Katy won't be too far behind. White women don't age as well as black women so while Rih and Bey will still look young, Katy and Britney won't. LG may not as well but since she is known more for her talent and weird looks and costumes, she may have an easier time Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
