yeah more specifically North Africans like Moroccans and Tunisians etc...They look Latino because most of you guys are mixed with Spanish, Arab, Berber, Portuguese, Italian, black & jewish ancestry just like Latinos are mixed Spanish, native, black, Portuguese etc... which gives a genetic combination that looks very similar lol

honestly i you listen to "Electric" the parts where she shrieks reminds me a lot o Gaga lol! I think the music wasn't similar but there deff was some inspiration surrounding the general attitude and vibe of Leila K I guess. Also a lot of her music was experimental electronica and you can hear some of those vibes on ARTPOP (imo). But yeah nothing too direct. Just a general vibe I'm guessing.

OMG I TAKE THAT BACK!  I just checked out this very early 90s video by her and yes I do COMPLETELY remember this particular song!  God I had to be like 6 when this came out - my babysitter used to blast this and people confused (Leila K) with Nenah Cherry.  Does any of the few other users in their 30s/40s recall this one ?  It was definitely played on US radio.   Damn, I can even remember this video being played on MTV ....wow ...massive nostalgia rush right now!

I think she's in forensic psychic care at the moment and doing a little better.

I feel bad because we used to badmouth her behind her back because of her antics a long time ago.

She escaped an arranges marriage to a cousin in Gothenburg, was discovered in a rap contest and became the top selling artist in Europe for a while.
