Did gaga refused to record "on the floor" with redone?

I think there are songs that Gaga simply didn't write, but made some changes to the lyrics:

Till It Happens To You

Come To Mama

Perfect Illusion

It sounds like nothing on TF or TFM, so besides not fitting on either album, the song is generic and boring.

Not the first time a single sounds nothing like the album... Perfect Illusion... Applause...

What makes you think that about Perfect Illusion? It was only said that she didn’t come up with the idea of the song, not that it was already written.

I believe those 3 songs are Gaga’s only songs where her name is not the first name in the writing credits. The first person listed is the one who wrote the majority of it. Gaga said that Kevin Parker had this song called Illusion and she thought of adding “Perfect” to it. How much of the lyrics are actually hers? We don’t know.

Saying she "refused to record it" makes it sound like RedOne tried to force her. I'm sure she heard the song and passed on it or RedOne probably never played it for her.

On TFM, RedOne is written first tho in basically all of the songs they made together :oprah:

LG wouldn't accept a written song. It's possible he offered her the production for her to write her own song to though.

She could have used the production/melody for Americano since the instrumental has sample from a latin song and I think it could've worked just fine :sis:
