The key to her success is that she re-invents herself each time, and no one sees it coming. When people believed she was out of ideas after releasing ARTPOP, bam, you get Cheek To Cheek and Joanne (Both unexpected) 

Imagine Gaga making the same type of songs and videos like she did for The Fame and The Fame Monster. She would be over now if she kept doing the same stuff over and over again.
